2. Who Can Use House Heroes
Designed for Families
House Heroes is a family-focused application designed for use by parents and their children together.
Parents or legal guardians must create and manage all accounts, settings, and child profiles (with an optional parental PIN lock).
Children cannot create accounts.
Children do not have independent access to accounts.
Children may only use the app with parental involvement and supervision.
By using House Heroes, you confirm that you are a parent or legal guardian acting on behalf of your child and that you have the authority to provide consent for your child’s use of the Service.

Household or family name
App preferences and parental control settings
Subscription status
3.2 Child Information (Provided by Parents Only)
We collect limited child information only after parental consent:
First name or nickname
Age or age range
Chore completion data
Reward and point history
Avatar customisation (non-identifying)
We do not require or request:
Full legal names
Photos
Precise location
Contact details for children
3.3 Automatically Collected Information
App usage data (feature usage, session activity)
Device type and operating system
IP address (used for security and fraud prevention)
We do not use behavioural advertising or cross-app tracking.
4. How We Use Information
We use the collected information to:
Provide and maintain the Service
Enable chore tracking, rewards, and habit systems

Process subscriptions via Apple In-App Purchases
Improve app stability and performance

5. Children’s Privacy & COPPA Compliance
House Heroes complies with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).

Parents may review, update, or delete child data at any time
Parents may revoke consent by deleting a child's profile or their account
We do not sell, rent, or monetise children’s data
We do not display ads or use behavioural tracking
6. Parental Rights
Parents and guardians may:
View all data associated with their account and child profiles
Edit or correct information
Delete child profiles or their entire account
Request data export by contacting us
Account deletion permanently removes associated data within 30 days, except where retention is legally required.
7. Data Sharing
We do not sell personal data.
We share limited data only with trusted providers:
Apple – subscription processing
RevenueCat – subscription management
OpenAI – AI suggestions (anonymised and contextual data only)
Hosting and analytics providers – app functionality and stability
8. Data Security
We use industry-standard security measures, including:
Encrypted data transmission (HTTPS)
Secure authentication
Access-controlled databases
No system is 100% secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your data.
9. Data Retention
We retain data only while your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. Deleted accounts are permanently removed within 30 days.

By using House Heroes (“the Service”), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Eligibility
House Heroes may only be used by parents or legal guardians.
Accounts must be created and managed by a parent or guardian
Children may use the app only under parental supervision
You confirm you have the authority to consent on behalf of your child

Earn rewards and privileges
Build responsibility through positive reinforcement
Receive AI-powered suggestions
4. Subscriptions & Billing
Payments are processed via Apple In-App Purchases
Subscriptions are managed by RevenueCat
Pricing is shown clearly before purchase
Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled through Apple
Refunds are subject to Apple’s refund policies.
5. User Accounts
You are responsible for:
Maintaining account security
All activity within your household
Managing child profiles and permissions
We may suspend accounts that violate these terms or misuse the Service.
6. User Content
You retain ownership of content you create (chores, rewards, profiles). You grant us permission to store and display this content solely to provide the Service.
7. Prohibited Use
You agree not to:
Use the Service unlawfully
Attempt to access other users’ data
Reverse engineer or disrupt the Service
Upload harmful or malicious content
8. Disclaimer
The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Shadow Wolves Productions is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the Service.
10. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use constitutes acceptance.

Refund Policy

In-App Purchases
House Heroes subscriptions and purchases are processed through the app store from which you downloaded the app.
Apple App Store: Refund requests must be submitted directly through Apple and are subject to Apple’s refund policies.
Google Play Store: Refund requests must be submitted through Google Play and are subject to Google’s refund policies.
We do not process refunds directly for purchases made through app stores.
